A spreadsheet you can use today
The .xlsx file includes four sheets: instructions, a blank balance sheet, the calculator example and a twelve-month history. No email is required, and there are no macros or bank connections. You can edit the labels and keep the file on your device.

How to fill in the template
- On the Balance sheet, enter the snapshot date. Use euros throughout; convert any balances in other currencies first.
- Fill in the input cells with each asset’s total value and your ownership percentage. If a balance already represents only your share, enter 100%.
- Do the same for outstanding debts, using positive amounts. The sheet calculates your share, totals your assets and subtracts your debts.
- On the History sheet, enter the month and paste your asset and debt totals as values. Updating Balance next month will then leave previous months unchanged.
- Keep a backup of the file. To correct a month, change its original figures and leave a note explaining the adjustment.
What the spreadsheet calculates
Each row multiplies the amount by your percentage and rounds to two decimal places. History calculates assets minus debts and the change from the previous month when both months are complete. Empty months are not treated as zero net worth.
The monthly difference is a change in balance, not a rate of return. It combines saving, prices, debts and any accounts added to the inventory. The sheet does not download market prices or calculate taxes.
How to separate these changes in your reviewSpreadsheet or app?
The template suits you if you want your own file and are happy updating it manually. The app adds account-level history, automatic public prices for supported assets and a combined view of your progress. You can start with the spreadsheet without creating an account.
