Your net worth, in a single figure.
Everything you own and everything you owe, without handing your bank login to anyone. Whatever is traded — shares, funds, crypto, gold — is valued by itself every night; you note the rest when it's due. And if one day you're gone, your family will know what there is and where.

How it works
Ten minutes to start. Five a month to keep going.
-
01
Note what you have
Add an account for every place where you have money or a debt: the bank, the broker, the house, the car, the mortgage. Today's balance is enough.
-
02
Let it value itself
For funds, shares, ETFs, crypto and metals you only note how many you hold. Every night the closing price arrives and the value is worked out again.
-
03
Review when it's due
Choose how often: weekly, every two weeks, monthly or quarterly. We email you and you go through the balances one by one, only the ones that are due.
Update balances
No bank connections, on purpose.
Nett doesn't ask for your bank login or depend on connections that break. When it's time to review, you press U and go through the accounts that are due: type the balance, hit Enter, next. Five minutes.
It understands numbers the way you'd jot them down: “21,650”, “+350”, “−120”, “+5%” or “21.6k”.
Listed
Anything listed is priced for you.
Search for a fund, a share or an ETF by name, ticker or ISIN and enter how many units you hold; crypto works the same way. Gold and silver go in by weight and purity.
Prices arrive every night and exchange rates come from the European Central Bank, so holding dollars or Swiss francs is no trouble at all.
Year review
Saving versus market.
Each month's balance separates what you put in from what the market did. You'll know whether you grew through steadiness or luck, and an account you already had and add late doesn't count as if you'd earned it.

Rules
Your car and your mortgage update themselves.
Enter the purchase price and date, or the principal, rate and term, and Nett works out the value for every month: what the car loses and how much the mortgage drops with each payment.
Projection
Where you’re heading.
Five hundred scenarios with your contributions, your spending and your plans — a sabbatical, a new car — to see when you could live off what you have, and with what margin.
Example using the portfolio above, contributing €900 a month and spending €30,000 a year, in today's euros. The line is the central scenario; the band is where 8 in 10 end up. It's a simulation, not a prediction.
Legacy
If one day you don’t come back, someone will know what you have and where.
You choose how often to give a sign of life and who to tell. If that time passes without you logging in, we email you; if you don’t reply, we alert your trusted contacts and, a week later, they receive a read-only link to your accounts, the notes you left on each one and your letter.
How Legacy works- Day 90 We email you. One click on “I’m still here” stops everything.
- Day 97 A second reminder, in case the first went astray.
- Day 104 We let your trusted contacts know something may be wrong.
- Day 111 They receive a read-only link, valid for 30 days.
Counted from your last visit, with a sign of life every 90 days. You can choose 30, 60, 90 or 180.
Security and privacy
Your numbers, seen by no one else.
No passwords
You sign in with a code sent to your email or with a passkey: your fingerprint or face. And if you like, a second step with an authenticator app.
No bank logins
Nett doesn't connect to your banks or read your transactions. What it doesn't know, it can't lose.
Encrypted notes and letter
What you write for your trusted contacts, and your account numbers, are stored encrypted.
Hidden amounts
Press H and the figures blur, in case someone glances at your screen.
Compared
Between the spreadsheet and the app that reads everything.
A spreadsheet never breaks, but you have to maintain it. Apps that connect to your bank do it for you, in exchange for your login and connections that fail. Nett keeps the best of both.
| What | Spreadsheet | Bank-linked app | Nett |
|---|---|---|---|
| Never asks for your bank login | Yes | No | Yes |
| Funds, shares, crypto and gold valued every night | No | Partly | Yes |

- You want to see your whole net worth, home and mortgage included, in one figure.

- You want your family to know what there is and where if one day you're gone.
It's not for you if…
- You want to track spending or make a budget: Nett doesn't read transactions.
- You need everything to update by itself, bank accounts included.
- You want advice on what to invest in.

What is net worth?
It is what you own minus what you owe, on the same date: the money in your accounts, your investments, your home and your car, minus your mortgage, loans and unpaid card balances. It is the figure that best sums up your finances, and how it moves month by month says more than any single balance.
Why doesn't Nett connect to my bank?
Because it isn't needed, and it's safer. You don't hand your login to anyone, you don't depend on connections that break, and what isn't traded — an account, a deposit — changes little: noting its balance now and then is enough. Whatever is traded values itself.
What updates by itself?
Shares, ETFs, funds, cryptocurrencies, gold and silver are valued every night with public closing prices. Exchange rates come from the European Central Bank. Your mortgage comes down with every payment and your car loses value every month, following the rules you give them.
How often do I need to update my balances?
Whenever you like. Once a month is usual, but you can choose every week, every two weeks or every quarter; Nett emails you when it's time and takes you through account by account. Five minutes.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Nett is free. If paid features ever arrive, you'll know before signing up for them: creating an account never authorises a charge.
How do I sign in without a password?
With a six-digit code sent to your email, or with a passkey: the fingerprint or face on your phone or computer. For extra security, you can add an authenticator app as a second step.
Can I track a shared home or account?
Yes. You enter the full value and the percentage that is yours, and Nett counts only your share, mortgage included. Each account can have its own percentage.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, it's made for it. Add it to your iPhone or Android home screen and it opens like an app, with the tab bar at the bottom.
What happens to my accounts if I die?
That's what Legacy is for. You choose how often you give a sign of life (30, 60, 90 or 180 days) and who to tell. If that time passes, we email you twice; if you don't reply, we alert your trusted contacts and, a week later, they receive a personal read-only link to your accounts, your notes and your letter. It doesn't transfer assets or replace a will.
Can I use it to track spending?
No. Nett records what you own and what you owe, and how that changes each month; it doesn't read transactions or categorise spending. If you're after a budget, a spending app or a spreadsheet will serve you better.
How is it different from Fintonic, Kubera or a spreadsheet?
Fintonic connects to your bank and focuses on spending. Kubera connects your accounts and is paid. A spreadsheet doesn't value itself. Nett connects to no bank, values only what is traded, updates your home and mortgage with rules, and tells your family if you're gone.
Can I use other currencies?
Yes. Each account has its own currency, and exchange rates come from the European Central Bank every day.
