A free Kubera alternative that never links your bank

A Kubera alternative without connecting your bank: European funds by ISIN, gold and silver, a mortgage that pays itself down and a plan for your family if you're gone. Free, in English and Spanish.

A resource by Utropía

The person who makes Nett used Kubera for years from Spain. It's a great tool, and we recommend it to anyone who wants everything connected. But from here, a few things fell short: paying in dollars, the interface in English, Spanish brokers that don't connect and funds that are easier to find by ISIN.

Nett grew out of that: the essentials of Kubera, without connecting your bank, free and in English and Spanish, with a plan for your family if one day you're gone.

What Kubera does better

  • Connecting to almost everything: thousands of banks, brokers, exchanges and crypto wallets, DeFi and NFTs included.
  • Its Dead Man’s Switch hands your emergency contact all your data and documents as Excel and ZIP files, with a backup contact if the first one doesn't respond.
  • Storing documents and insurance policies alongside your net worth, and private investments with their returns.
  • Native apps for iPhone and Android, and integrations with AI assistants.

What Nett does differently

  • It connects to no bank: no credentials to hand over and no connections to break. Whatever is traded values itself; you note the rest when it's due, in five minutes.
  • European funds by ISIN, priced by Morningstar every night, and physical gold and silver by weight and fineness.
  • Your car depreciates and your mortgage pays down by themselves every month, payment by payment.
  • Year review separates, each month, what you saved from what the market did, and Projection simulates 500 futures with your plans.
  • Legacy alerts your people in stages and gives them a read-only link: your letter and your notes never travel by email.
  • Free, in English and Spanish, and with no passwords.

When to stay with Kubera

If you have many accounts that change daily and want them to update by themselves, if you use DeFi, or if you need to store documents and share portfolios with your adviser, Kubera is still the better option. Nett is made for people who'd rather connect nothing and review their balances once a month.

How to move from Kubera to Nett

  1. Create your account with your email: you get a code, and that's it.
  2. For each fund, ETF or share, search for it by ISIN or ticker and enter the number of units. The same goes for crypto and metals.
  3. For accounts and deposits, enter today's balance. For your home, its value; for your mortgage, the outstanding capital, the interest rate and the term.
  4. If you have shared assets, set your percentage on each account.
  5. Set up Legacy: your trusted contacts, your letter and a note on each account.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Kubera alternative in Spain?

It depends on why you're leaving. If it's the price, the language or because your brokers don't connect, Nett does the essentials for free, in English and Spanish, with funds by ISIN and a plan for your family. If you want to keep everything connected automatically, Finary is the closest European option.

Does Kubera have a Spanish version?

We couldn't find one: its website, app and help pages are in English. Prices are in dollars.

Can I import my data from Kubera?

No: Nett has no importer, on purpose. You enter everything by hand, account by account. For funds and shares, the ISIN or ticker and the number of units are enough; the price arrives by itself.

What happens to my data in Nett if I'm gone?

If you set up Legacy, your trusted contacts first receive a warning and, a week later, a read-only link to your accounts, your notes and your letter. None of it travels by email.
